Hello I’m Mark Sedam. I have been SVL resident since 2010. I enjoy living in SVL and the high desert. My parents Don & Shirley also live in SVL. I’m a retired Aerospace Engineer (25+ years). My education background includes BS from California State University, Fullerton in Mechanical Engineering (1986) and MS from West Coast University in Engineering Management (1992).
My goals are to support community lead changes and improve communication and information to homeowners within the SVLA. I support the efforts of the community task force team (current Park Improvement project), the water purchase project (from several years ago), the current community efforts to form CSD (Community Service District), and I’m opposed to ANY special assessments at SVLA.
Currently part of several clubs at SVLA: Rods & Relics (Car club), SVLYC (Yacht club charter member), SVL ARC (Ham club), and Fishing/Social club.
I do community service at local community farm to raise vegetables and give the vegetables to the less fortunate (Squash4Friends). The community farms are in Hesperia and Apple Valley.
My past association experience includes 15 plus years at OC HOA as Treasurer. I’m still serving on the OC HOA board as non-resident director.
Fan of CSUF Titans (College Baseball) and international travel.
